Possible Causes
Loose ribbon cable between UI board and main PCB, Faulty control panel PCB, Moisture ingress into control fascia, Firmware communication error
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before removing the control panel or top cover.
- Access the control panel: Remove the top cover and any screws securing the front control fascia. Carefully pull the panel forward.
- Check ribbon cables: Locate the flat ribbon cable or harness connecting the user interface board to the main control PCB. Disconnect and reconnect it, ensuring it is fully seated and not damaged.
- Inspect for moisture or corrosion: Look for signs of water ingress, detergent residue, or corrosion on the control board. Dry gently with a lint-free cloth if slightly damp. If corrosion is extensive, the panel may need replacement.
- Button test: With the dryer reassembled, plug it in and test each button. If some buttons are unresponsive and E10 remains, the UI board is likely faulty.
- Firmware reset: Some Logik models allow a basic reset by unplugging the dryer for 5–10 minutes, then reconnecting. If E10 persists, replacement of the control panel or main PCB may be required.
