E11
Logik Moisture Sensor Circuit Fault

Dryer shows E11; drying performance is poor; sensor-dry cycles end too soon or run too long

Possible Causes

Dirty or coated moisture sensor bars, Broken or disconnected moisture sensor wiring, Faulty moisture sensor module, Control PCB sensor input failure

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the dryer before accessing internal wiring. Cleaning the sensor bars can usually be done with power off and door open.

  • Locate the moisture sensor bars: Inside the drum, usually near the lint filter opening, there are two metal strips or bars.
  • Clean the sensor bars: Using a soft cloth and white vinegar or mild soapy water, scrub the bars to remove any waxy film from fabric softeners. Do not use abrasive pads that can scratch the surface. Dry thoroughly.
  • Check wiring connections: Remove the front panel (if required) to access the back of the sensor bars. Ensure the wires are firmly attached and not broken.
  • Test continuity: With a multimeter, check continuity between the sensor terminals when a damp cloth bridges the bars. Lack of change in resistance suggests a faulty sensor or wiring.
  • If E11 persists: The moisture sensor module or main control PCB may be defective and require replacement.
