Possible Causes

Blocked blower wheel, Failed fan motor, Loose fan wheel on shaft, Faulty airflow or pressure sensor (if fitted)

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect power. Moving fan blades can cause injury.

  • Access the fan housing: On many Logik dryers, the fan is located at the front bottom or rear behind a cover. Remove the appropriate panel.
  • Inspect for blockages: Check the blower wheel for lint build-up, fabric pieces, or foreign objects. Remove any obstructions carefully.
  • Check fan wheel fit: Gently try to rotate the fan wheel by hand. It should spin freely without wobbling. If it is loose on the shaft, the wheel may need replacement.
  • Test the fan motor: Visually inspect the motor for burnt smell or discoloration. If you have a multimeter, check for continuity across the motor windings. Open circuit indicates a failed motor.
  • Reassemble and test: After cleaning and checking, run a short cycle. If E12 returns and airflow is weak, the fan motor or airflow sensor (if present) may require replacement.
