Safety First: Unplug the dryer before removing any panels.

Step 1 – Power cycle: Disconnect power for 5 minutes, then reconnect and attempt to start a cycle. If F03 returns, proceed.
Step 2 – Access controls: Remove the top or console panel to access both the main control board and the user interface board.
Step 3 – Reseat connectors: One at a time, unplug and firmly reconnect the wiring harnesses between the UI and main control. Inspect for bent pins, corrosion, or loose locking tabs.
Step 4 – Inspect harness: Follow the harness between boards and look for pinched, cut, or burned wires. Repair or replace any damaged harness sections.
Step 5 – Isolate faulty board: If wiring is intact and F03 persists, one of the boards is likely defective. In most cases, the main control is replaced first. If the issue remains, replace the UI board.
Step 6 – Test dryer: After replacing components, reassemble the console, restore power, and run multiple cycles to confirm the error is cleared.
