How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety First: Turn off the breaker and unplug the dryer before inspecting. Only qualified persons should perform live voltage checks.
- Step 1 – Reset breaker: At the electrical panel, switch the dryer breaker fully OFF then back ON to reset both poles.
- Step 2 – Inspect terminal block and cord: Remove the rear cover and check for loose or burned connections. Tighten screws and replace any damaged parts.
- Step 3 – Verify outlet voltage: With a multimeter, confirm that the outlet provides ~240V across the two hot legs. If only ~120V is present, contact an electrician to repair the circuit.
