Dryer will not start; display shows LOC or a lock icon.

Safety First: No internal repair is needed unless the lock will not clear.

• Step 1 – Unlock controls: Press and hold the Control Lock or designated lock button for 3–5 seconds until LOC disappears.
• Step 2 – Confirm operation: Try starting a cycle. If the lock re-engages immediately, ensure no buttons are stuck or held down by debris.
• Step 3 – Power cycle: Unplug the dryer for 5 minutes, then reconnect and attempt to unlock again.
• Step 4 – UI replacement: If LOC cannot be cleared and buttons are physically free, the user interface may be defective and should be replaced.
