Possible Causes

Incorrect line voltage, Loose power cord connection at terminal block, Tripped breaker on one leg, Burned terminal block

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off the circuit breaker before inspecting the power connections. High voltage is present at the terminal block.

E10 indicates the control senses abnormal input voltage.

  • Check the breaker: For electric dryers, ensure the double-pole breaker is fully on and not partially tripped. Reset if necessary.
  • Inspect the power cord and terminal block: Remove the rear cover over the terminal block. Look for burned wires, loose screws, or melted insulation. Tighten connections and replace damaged parts.
  • Verify voltage: Using a multimeter (only if you are trained and comfortable), check for approximately 240V across the two hot terminals and 120V from each hot to neutral/ground.
  • Check outlet and cord: If voltage is incorrect at the dryer, test the wall outlet and replace the cord or have an electrician correct the supply.

If supply voltage is correct and connections are solid but E10 persists, the main control board's power supply circuit may be defective.
