Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dryer before accessing internal components.
E11 relates to the inlet air temperature sensor, used on some Midea sensor-dry models.
- Locate the inlet sensor: Typically mounted near the heater inlet or front bulkhead where air enters the drum.
- Inspect wiring: Ensure the connector is fully seated and wires are not pinched or damaged.
- Test the sensor: Disconnect one lead and measure resistance at room temperature. Compare to expected NTC values (often 10–50 kΩ). Replace if open, shorted, or far out of range.
- Check for lint or blockage: Clean any lint buildup around the sensor that could affect readings.
If a new sensor and good wiring do not clear E11, the main control board may require replacement.
