Dryer interior light does not come on when the door is opened.

Safety first: Unplug the dryer before replacing the light.

Restore drum lighting:

• Locate the drum light cover inside the drum; remove it according to the manual (usually by releasing a clip or screw).
• Replace the bulb or LED module with the exact type specified by Miele.
• If the new bulb does not light, test the door switch and wiring to the light circuit.
• If the switch and wiring are good, the control board output for the light may be faulty and require professional repair.
