Poor Drying Performance / Extended Dry Times
Dryer runs but takes excessively long to dry clothes; loads are still damp after the normal cycle.

Possible Causes
Restricted airflow, clogged condenser (condenser or heat-pump models), dirty moisture sensor bars, failing blower motor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before internal cleaning.
Improve drying efficiency:
- Clean the lint filter before every load; wash it periodically with warm water and mild detergent to remove film.
- Inspect and clean the exhaust duct and outside vent; remove lint buildup and ensure the flap opens fully.
- On condenser and heat-pump models, remove the condenser unit and rinse thoroughly from back to front until water runs clear; allow to drain.
- Clean the moisture sensor bars inside the drum with a mild abrasive cleaner to remove softener residues that can cause early shutoff.
- If airflow is good but drying is still poor, the blower motor or heat pump system may be underperforming and should be checked by a technician.
