Dryer drum light (if fitted) does not come on when the door is opened, but the dryer otherwise works.

Safety first: Unplug the dryer before replacing any bulbs or accessing the light fitting.

• Replace bulb: If your Montpellier model uses a replaceable bulb, remove the light cover inside the drum and fit a new bulb of the specified type and wattage.
• Check connections: Ensure the light fitting wires are secure and not corroded.
• Door switch check: If the light is controlled by the door switch, test the switch for proper operation and replace if faulty.
• LED models: If the light is an integrated LED and not serviceable, the entire light module may need replacement.
