Dryer powers on but will not start the cycle when the start/pause button is pressed.

Safety first: Do not bypass safety interlocks for normal operation.

• Check door closure: Close the door firmly until you hear a click. Ensure no clothing is trapped in the door seal.
• Child lock: Refer to the Montpellier manual to see if a child lock icon is displayed. Disable the lock using the documented button combination.
• Test door switch: Listen for a click when closing the door. If absent, the switch may be faulty. Access and test the door switch with a multimeter and replace if necessary.
• Reset control: Turn the selector to OFF, wait 30 seconds, then select a program and press start again.
