Dryer displays E07 and may stop shortly after starting; sometimes accompanied by unusual noises from the drum area.

Safety first: Disconnect the appliance from mains before removing any covers.

• Check for mechanical obstruction: Ensure the drum turns freely by hand. Remove any trapped items that could cause irregular rotation.
• Access motor area: Remove the rear panel to access the motor and belt. Look for a small sensor near the motor pulley or on the motor shaft with a wiring connector.
• Inspect sensor and magnet: Ensure the sensor is firmly mounted and aligned with the magnet or encoder wheel. Re-seat any loose components.
• Check wiring: Follow the sensor wires back to the main PCB, checking for chafing, cuts, or loose plugs.
• Test and replace: If available, compare sensor resistance or output to service specifications. If faulty, replace the sensor with the correct Montpellier part. If E07 persists, the main PCB input circuit may be defective.
