How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dryer before removing the control panel.
- Check for stuck controls: Gently press each button and rotate the selector knob through all positions. Free any stuck buttons.
- Clean around controls: Wipe away detergent or softener residue that may have seeped into the control panel.
- Inspect connections: Remove the top cover and access the user interface PCB. Reseat the ribbon cable or wiring harness between the interface and main PCB.
- Test operation: Reassemble and test. If E15 remains, the interface PCB or selector switch may need replacement.
