Proline
Restricted Airflow / Partial Blockage
Dryer takes excessively long to dry clothes; loads are still damp after the normal program finishes, but some heat is present.

Possible Causes
Clogged lint filter, Blocked condenser unit (condenser models), Blocked vent hose or wall vent (vented models)
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dryer before removing panels or hoses.
Step-by-step checks:
- Clean lint filter: Remove and thoroughly clean the lint filter after every load. Wash with warm soapy water if coated.
- Condenser models: Remove the condenser from the front compartment. Rinse under warm water until clear. Clean the housing and any secondary filters.
- Vented models: Disconnect the vent hose from the back of the dryer and from the wall. Shake out lint and vacuum the inside. Check the external vent flap for obstructions.
- Check installation: Avoid long, crushed, or sharply bent vent hoses that restrict airflow.
When to call a technician: If airflow is good but drying is still poor, the moisture sensor or control system may need professional testing.
