Restricted Airflow / Reduced Heating Efficiency
Dryer takes much longer than usual to dry clothes; loads come out damp even after a full cycle.

Possible Causes
Clogged lint filter, Blocked condenser unit, Blocked exhaust duct or wall vent (vented models), Partially failed heating element
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect the dryer from the mains before cleaning internal components.
- Clean lint filter: Remove and thoroughly clean the lint filter after every load. Wash with warm water if coated with residue.
- Clean condenser (if fitted): Remove the condenser cassette and rinse under running water until clear. Clean the housing area of lint.
- Check exhaust duct (vented models): Remove the vent hose and clear any lint buildup. Ensure the hose is not crushed or excessively long. Clean the external wall vent and ensure the flap moves freely.
- Check heater performance: Run the dryer on a timed high-heat cycle and feel the exhaust air after a few minutes. If only lukewarm, test the heater and thermostats with a multimeter and replace any faulty components.
- Avoid overloading: Do not overload the drum; this restricts airflow through the clothes and increases drying time.
