Possible Causes
Severely blocked condenser unit, Blocked condenser fan or fan motor failure, Heavy lint buildup in condenser air channels, Faulty condenser temperature sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dryer before removing panels or the condenser unit.
- Clean condenser thoroughly: Remove the condenser cassette from the front lower compartment. Rinse from the rear with warm water until all lint is removed. Use a soft brush to dislodge stubborn debris. Allow to drain fully before refitting.
- Inspect condenser fan: On heat pump models, remove the side or rear panel to access the condenser fan. Check for lint buildup on the blades and housing. Clean carefully and ensure the fan spins freely.
- Test fan motor: With power disconnected, check the fan motor wiring and measure resistance. If the motor is open circuit or seized, replace the condenser fan motor.
- Check condenser NTC sensor: Locate the NTC on or near the condenser coil. Inspect wiring and test resistance at room temperature. Replace if readings are out of range.
- Reassemble and test: After cleaning and any part replacement, reassemble panels, restore power, and run a test cycle to confirm normal water collection and that E11 does not reappear.
