• Inspect lint buildup: Remove front and rear panels and thoroughly vacuum lint from heater housing, blower, and cabinet.
• Check exhaust vent: Ensure the vent is clear and air flows freely to the outside.
• Look for foreign objects: Inspect the heater area and drum for items like plastic, rubber, or fabric stuck near the heater.
• Check motor: Smell near the motor area; if the motor has a strong burnt odor or shows signs of overheating, replace the drive motor.

Do not operate the dryer until the source of the smell is identified and corrected.
