Possible Causes
Incorrect supply voltage, Loose power cord connections at terminal block, Faulty power cord, Defective main PCB power sensing circuit
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off the circuit breaker before inspecting electrical connections. Only work on live circuits if you are qualified.
- Verify supply voltage: For electric dryers, measure voltage at the outlet (should be around 240 VAC in North America, 220–240 VAC in many other regions). Incorrect voltage requires an electrician.
- Inspect terminal block: Remove the rear cover over the power cord terminal block. Check for loose screws, burnt wires, or melted plastic. Tighten connections and replace damaged parts.
- Check power cord: Look for cuts, burns, or kinks. Replace the Samsung-compatible dryer power cord if damaged.
- PCB diagnosis: If supply and connections are correct but 9C1 persists, the main PCB may misread voltage and should be tested/replaced by a technician.
