Disconnected thermistor, Broken thermistor lead, Open thermistor element, Damaged harness between thermistor and PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before servicing.
- Access thermistor: Remove the front or rear panel (model dependent) to reach the exhaust/drum thermistor.
- Check connection: Ensure the thermistor plug is fully seated on the terminals and not loose.
- Inspect wiring: Look for broken or pulled-out wires at the thermistor and along the harness.
- Test continuity: Measure resistance across the thermistor. An infinite reading indicates an open circuit. Replace the Samsung thermistor if open.
