Siemens
Restricted Airflow / Inefficient Condensation
Dryer runs but clothes remain damp or take very long to dry

Possible Causes
Clogged lint filter, Blocked condenser unit, Dirty heat exchanger on heat pump models, Blocked exhaust duct (vented Siemens dryers)
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Switch off and unplug the dryer before internal cleaning.
- Clean all lint filters: Remove the main lint filter and any additional Siemens fine filters. Wash with warm water, dry thoroughly, and reinstall.
- Clean condenser: On condenser and heat pump models, open the condenser flap, remove the condenser, and rinse it from the back with warm water until clear. Let it drain before refitting.
- Check exhaust duct (vented models): Detach the hose and clear lint build-up. Inspect the wall vent and external flap for obstructions.
- Ensure proper loading: Avoid overloading the drum; leave space for air circulation. Mix heavy and light fabrics for more even drying.
- Room conditions: Ensure the room is not extremely cold or poorly ventilated, as this reduces condenser efficiency.
