Moisture Sensor / Conductivity Measurement Fault
Dryer shows E11; cycle may not start or may end prematurely

Possible Causes
Dirty or coated drum moisture sensor bars, Broken wire to moisture sensor, Faulty moisture sensor module, Defective main control moisture sensing circuit
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before removing any covers, but cleaning the sensor bars can be done with power off and no disassembly.
- Clean sensor bars: Inside the drum, locate the two metal strips (usually near the lint filter opening). Clean them thoroughly with a non-abrasive sponge and a bit of white vinegar or mild detergent to remove fabric softener residue. Dry completely.
- Avoid dryer sheets: Excessive use of dryer sheets can coat the sensors. Reduce or eliminate their use to prevent future issues.
- Check wiring: If E11 persists, access the area behind the front panel where the sensor bars connect. Inspect the wires and connectors for breaks or corrosion.
- Test sensor circuit: Use a multimeter to check continuity from the sensor bars to the control board. Repair any open circuits.
- Replace sensor module or control: If wiring is intact and cleaning does not help, the moisture sensor module or main control board may be faulty and require replacement.
