Possible Causes
Blocked internal condensate channel, Disconnected hose from condenser to tank, Faulty condensate pump not moving water to tank, Tank float mechanism stuck
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dryer before accessing internal hoses or the pump. Be prepared for water spillage.
- Check tank seating: Ensure the water tank is fully inserted and correctly positioned to receive water.
- Clean condensate channel: Access the lower front area and clean the channel and filter where water drains from the condenser.
- Inspect internal hoses: Remove side or rear panels to trace the hose from the condenser/pump to the tank. Reattach any loose hoses and replace cracked ones.
- Test condensate pump: If fitted, test the pump by applying power (following service manual guidance) or by observing operation during a cycle. Replace if not pumping.
