Safety first: Disconnect power before accessing the heater or control board. Heating components can be hot even after the cycle ends.

• Verify program settings: Ensure you are not using a cool-air or no-heat program. Select a standard cotton or mixed load program with heat.
• Check exhaust temperature: After starting a heated program, let the dryer run for 5–10 minutes and feel the exhaust or drum area. If still cold, proceed with internal checks.
• Test heater and thermostats: Access the heater assembly and test the heating element and thermostats for continuity as described in heater-related error procedures. Replace any open components.
• Inspect control board heater relay: Look for signs of a burnt or stuck relay on the main PCB. If the relay does not click when heat should be on, the board may need replacement.
• Check wiring: Ensure all heater circuit connectors are tight and free of burns.
