Possible Causes
Tripped breaker, Blown thermal fuse, Faulty power cord, Failed main control board power supply
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure the breaker is off before inspecting wiring. Use a non-contact voltage tester if available.
- Check power source: Verify the outlet has correct voltage and that the breaker is not tripped. Reset if necessary.
- Inspect power cord: Look for cuts, burns, or loose connections at the terminal block. Replace the cord if damaged.
- Test thermal fuse: Access the blower housing or rear panel where the thermal fuse is mounted. Disconnect wires and test for continuity. Replace if open, and clean vents to prevent recurrence.
- Control board check: If power is present and the thermal fuse is good, the main control board may have failed. Inspect for burnt components and replace the board if necessary.
