Possible Causes

Failed touchpad or button board, Loose ribbon cable between UI and main board, Moisture intrusion into control panel, Cracked control fascia

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the dryer before removing the control panel.

  • Check for lock mode: Ensure the control lock/child lock feature is not enabled. Refer to the user manual to disable it. If E10 remains, proceed.
  • Inspect the control panel: Remove the screws securing the control console and gently pull it forward. Look for signs of moisture, corrosion, or physical damage.
  • Reseat ribbon cables: Disconnect and reconnect the flat ribbon cable(s) between the user interface and main control board. Ensure they are fully inserted and latched.
  • Dry out moisture: If there are signs of condensation or liquid spills, allow the panel to dry completely before reassembly. Do not use heat guns directly on electronics.
  • Replace UI board if necessary: If specific buttons do not respond or E10 persists, the user interface board may need replacement. Transfer any overlays or knobs from the old panel to the new one.
