Dryer displays E18 and the drum light flickers or the display dims intermittently

Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker before inspecting power connections.

• Check outlet and plug: Ensure the dryer plug is fully inserted and not hot to the touch. A warm plug indicates a poor connection.
• Inspect terminal block: Remove the rear cover and check for loose or burnt connections at the terminal block. Tighten and replace damaged parts as needed.
• Verify house wiring: If possible, have a qualified electrician check the circuit for proper wire gauge and secure connections at the breaker panel.
• Internal harness check: Inspect the main power harness inside the dryer for loose connectors or damaged insulation. Reseat connectors on the control board and filter board (if present).
