Safety first: Disconnect power before removing panels or touching internal components.

• Confirm symptom: Start a cycle and observe whether the drum attempts to turn before E20 appears. Then unplug the dryer.
• Locate rotation sensor: On models equipped with a drum sensor, it is usually near the motor or on the drum shaft with a small magnet or encoder wheel.
• Inspect magnet/encoder: Ensure the magnet or encoder wheel is intact and securely attached. Replace if cracked or missing.
• Check wiring: Follow the sensor wires to the control board and verify all connectors are secure and undamaged.
• Test sensor: Use a multimeter to check for pulses or resistance changes when the drum is rotated by hand (refer to service data). Replace the sensor if it does not respond.
