How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dryer and allow it to cool before inspection.
- Check installation clearance: Ensure there is adequate space around the dryer for ventilation as specified in the Teka manual.
- Clean vents and ducts: Remove lint from all external and internal vents, ducts, and the condenser (if fitted).
- Inspect insulation: Remove panels and check that insulation around the drum and heater is in place and not touching hot components incorrectly.
- Check thermostats and sensors: Test the high-limit thermostat and NTC sensors. Replace any that are not regulating temperature correctly.
