Advertisements
Possible Causes
Burnt drum light bulb or LED, Faulty door switch, Loose light wiring, Failed light driver on control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dryer before replacing the light or accessing wiring.
- Replace bulb (if fitted): On models with a replaceable bulb, remove the light cover inside the drum, unscrew the bulb, and install a new bulb of the same type and rating.
- Check door switch: If the light still does not work, test the door switch for continuity when the door is open/closed. Replace if faulty.
- Inspect wiring: Check the wiring from the light to the control board for loose connections.
- LED models: If the dryer uses an integrated LED module and it has failed, the module or control board may need replacement by a technician.
