Dryer makes a rattling or clinking noise, especially at low speeds

Safety first: Unplug the dryer before reaching into the drum or removing panels.

• Inspect drum: Check inside the drum and in the baffles for loose objects such as coins, buttons, or zips.
• Check front seal area: Gently pull back the front drum seal and look for trapped items. Remove any foreign objects carefully.
• Inspect blower fan: Remove the front or rear panel to access the blower housing. Remove any debris from the fan wheel.
• Test run: After removing objects, run the dryer briefly to confirm the noise is gone.
