Safety first: Unplug the dryer before accessing the door switch or control panel.
- Check door and display icons: Ensure the door is firmly closed. Look for a child lock symbol on the display; if present, disable it according to the user manual (usually by holding specific buttons).
- Try different programs: Select a simple timed program and press Start. If only certain programs fail, there may be a configuration issue.
- Test door switch: Access the door switch from behind the front panel. Test continuity while opening and closing the door. Replace the switch if it does not change state.
