Poor Drying Performance / Restricted Airflow
Dryer takes too long to dry clothes; loads are still damp at the end of the program

Possible Causes
Clogged lint filter, Dirty condenser unit, Blocked exhaust duct (vented models), Failing heating element or low heat output
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dryer before internal cleaning.
- Clean lint filter: Remove the lint filter and clean it thoroughly after every cycle. Wash with warm water and detergent if coated with fabric softener.
- Clean condenser (condenser/heat pump models): Remove the condenser from the front lower compartment and rinse under running water until clear. Allow to dry before reinstalling.
- Check vent hose (vented models): Inspect the vent hose for kinks, long runs, or lint buildup. Shorten and clean the hose as needed.
- Do not overload: Reduce load size to allow better air circulation. Overloading can significantly increase drying time.
- Verify heating: During a cycle, check if warm air is present at the exhaust or inside the drum. If air remains cool, investigate the heating system (element, thermostats, NTC) and replace faulty parts.
