Dryer will not start at all; no lights on the display and no response to buttons

Safety first: Ensure the dryer is unplugged before inspecting internal electrical parts.

• Check outlet and fuse: Test the wall socket with another appliance. Check the household fuse or breaker for the dryer circuit and reset/replace if tripped.
• Inspect power cord: Examine the Teka dryer power cord and plug for cuts, burns, or loose pins. Replace if damaged.
• Check mains filter: Remove the top cover and locate the mains filter module where the power cord enters. Inspect for burnt components or loose connections.
• Test incoming voltage: With appropriate precautions and a multimeter, verify that mains voltage reaches the control board. If voltage is present but the board is dead, the board's power supply is likely faulty.
• Replace faulty components: Replace the mains filter or main control board as needed. If you are not experienced with mains voltage, contact a qualified technician.
