Possible Causes
Blocked exhaust duct (vented models), Faulty exhaust NTC sensor, Clogged internal air channels, Defective airflow or humidity sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect the dryer from mains before cleaning internal ducts.
- Clean external venting (vented models): Remove the vent hose and clean lint from the hose and wall outlet. Straighten any kinks and ensure the outlet flap moves freely.
- Clean internal ducts: Remove rear or front panels as needed to access the main air duct. Vacuum lint from the duct, blower housing, and around the heater.
- Inspect exhaust NTC / sensor: Locate the sensor on the exhaust duct. Check its connector and wiring. If corroded or damaged, clean or replace.
- Test sensor: Measure resistance of the exhaust NTC at room temperature and compare to specifications. Replace if out of range.
- Reassemble and test: After cleaning and sensor checks, run a drying cycle. If E11 persists, the control board's sensor input or an internal humidity sensor may be faulty and require professional service.
