How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety First: Unplug the dryer before inspection.
- Inspect drum interior: Check inside the drum and in the baffles for loose objects like coins, buttons, or screws. Remove any found.
- Access blower housing: Remove the lower front or rear panel to reach the blower housing. Remove the housing cover.
- Remove debris: Clear any foreign objects from the blower wheel and housing.
- Check blower wheel: Try to wiggle the blower wheel on the motor shaft. If it is loose or wobbles, tighten or replace the blower wheel.
- Reassemble and test: Reinstall covers and panels, restore power, and run the dryer to confirm the rattling is gone.
