How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety First: Unplug the dryer before cleaning internal components.

  • Clean drum: Wipe the inside of the drum with a solution of mild detergent and warm water. Dry with a clean cloth.
  • Clean lint filter housing: Remove the lint screen and vacuum inside the housing.
  • Clean venting: Disconnect and clean the vent hose and wall duct. Ensure the exterior vent hood is clean and opens freely.
  • Run deodorizing cycle: Run the dryer empty on high heat for 20–30 minutes to help dry out and clear odors.
