Display segments are missing or unreadable, but smoker still heats.

Safety first: Unplug the smoker before opening the control box.

Steps to restore readability:

• Inspect display window: Clean the outside of the display window to ensure dirt is not obscuring segments.
• Check internal connector: Open the control box and reseat any ribbon cable or connector between the main board and the display module.
• Look for cracks: Examine the display PCB for cracks or damage. If present, the display must be replaced.
• Replace control box: On many Bradley models, the display is integrated into the control box. Replace the entire digital control box to restore full display function.
