Possible Causes
Overfilled water bowl, Bisquettes not dropping cleanly, Water bowl not centered under drop point, Excess condensation dripping into bowl
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Use gloves when handling the hot water bowl and spent bisquettes.
Steps to correct:
- Fill to correct level: Only fill the water bowl to the level recommended in the Bradley manual, leaving room for spent bisquettes.
- Center the bowl: Position the bowl directly under the bisquette drop point so pucks fall into the water and do not stack on the rim.
- Check feed timing: Ensure bisquettes are advancing at the correct interval and not double‑feeding.
- Empty periodically: During long smokes, carefully remove and empty the bowl as needed, then refill with fresh water.
