Display and lights work but smoker shuts off randomly during cook

Safety first: Unplug the smoker before opening any panels.

• Check external power: Ensure the plug fits tightly in the outlet and that no extension cord connections are loose.
• Inspect internal connections: Open the control box and verify that all spade connectors on the control board and terminal block are tight. Reseat any loose connectors.
• Look for heat damage: Check the control board for darkened areas or cracked solder joints that may open when hot. If found, replace the board.
• Door switch (if present): Some models have a door switch that cuts power when the door is open. Inspect and test the switch for intermittent operation; replace if unreliable.
