Rattling or buzzing noise from back of smoker when running

Safety first: Unplug and cool the smoker before tightening or adjusting parts.

• Check external panels: Press on side and back panels to see if the noise changes. Tighten any loose screws.
• Inspect fan (if present): Access the fan and ensure mounting screws are tight and the blade is not contacting the shroud.
• Secure internal accessories: Make sure the Char‑Broil chip tray, water pan, and racks are fully seated and not touching the cabinet walls.
• Add anti‑rattle pads: Where metal parts contact and rattle, use high‑temperature silicone pads or thin gasket material to dampen vibration.
