Possible Causes
Cook cycle completed normally, Meat probe reached target temperature, Controller programmed alarm threshold reached
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Note: This is typically a normal indication, not a fault.
Steps:
- 1. Acknowledge alarm: Press the appropriate key (often STOP or a dedicated ALARM key) to silence the beeper.
- 2. Verify food doneness: Check internal meat temperature with a separate thermometer to confirm it has reached a safe level.
- 3. Adjust settings: If the alarm is triggering too early or late, review your IQ controller programming for time, temperature, and probe setpoints and adjust as needed.
When it is a problem: If the alarm triggers far from the expected time or temperature, re-check probe placement and controller settings, and test the probe for accuracy.
