Safety first: Use gloves when checking the door during a hot cook. Avoid placing your face near escaping steam or smoke.

Steps:

• 1. Visual inspection: Look for visible gaps between the door and cabinet when closed.
• 2. Paper test: Close the door on a strip of paper at several points. If the paper pulls out easily, the seal is weak in that area.
• 3. Adjust latch and hinges: Tighten hinge screws and adjust the latch to pull the door tighter if possible.
• 4. Replace gasket: If the gasket is flattened, cracked, or missing sections, replace it with a Cookshack OEM door gasket.
• 5. Check for door warping: If the door is visibly warped, contact Cookshack for replacement options.
