Unusual loud buzzing, humming, or rattling noise during operation

Safety first: Turn OFF and unplug the smoker before tightening screws or touching internal components.

Steps:

• 1. Isolate the noise: Listen to determine if the noise occurs only when the fan runs, when the element cycles, or continuously.
• 2. Tighten hardware: Check and tighten screws on racks, side rails, element brackets, and controller mounting.
• 3. Secure accessories: Ensure the wood box and drip pan are fully seated and not rattling against the cabinet.
• 4. Inspect fan blade: On fan-equipped models, check the fan for bent blades or debris. Clean and straighten gently if needed.
• 5. Replace fan motor: If the fan motor is noisy even when clean and secure, replace the Cookshack fan motor.
