Check cable: Remove the control panel and ensure the keypad ribbon cable is fully seated in the control board connector.
Inspect overlay: If the button overlay is cracked or delaminated, replace the keypad/control panel assembly.
Replace keypad: If only certain buttons fail consistently, install a new Cuisinart keypad or full control panel module.
