Possible Causes
Failed touch membrane, Moisture under control overlay, Loose ribbon cable to main board, Cracked control panel PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the smoker before removing the control panel.
- Inspect and reseat ribbon cable: Remove the control panel and unplug the ribbon cable. Check for corrosion or bent pins, then reconnect firmly.
- Dry the panel: If condensation or water is visible, dry the panel thoroughly and allow it to sit in a warm, dry place for several hours.
- Test button response: After reassembly, plug in and test each button. If some buttons still fail, the keypad membrane is likely damaged.
- Replace control panel assembly: Install a new OEM Dyna‑Glo control panel if the keypad remains unresponsive.
