- Inspect control housing ventilation: Remove the rear or side panel covering the control board. Look for blocked vents, insect nests, or debris. Clean out any obstructions to restore airflow.
- Examine the control board: Look for burnt components, discoloration, or a melted smell. If any components appear overheated, the board should be replaced.
- Verify insulation and heat shields: Confirm that any factory heat shields or insulation between the cook chamber and control compartment are intact and properly positioned. Replace missing or damaged shields to protect the electronics.
- Replace the control board if needed: If E7 recurs after ensuring proper ventilation and shielding, install a new OEM Dyna‑Glo control board.
