Possible Causes
Momentary loss of AC power, Loose plug in outlet, Tripped GFCI outlet, Faulty power cord connection at smoker
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the smoker and unplug it before inspecting the power cord.
- Check the outlet and breaker: Reset any tripped GFCI or breaker. Test the outlet with another appliance to confirm stable power.
- Inspect the power cord: Look for cuts, kinks, or burn marks along the cord. Replace the cord if any damage is found.
- Secure the plug: Ensure the plug fits snugly in the outlet. Avoid using loose or worn outlets that can cause intermittent power loss.
- Restart the cook cycle: After power is stable, turn the smoker back on, re‑enter the desired temperature and time, and resume cooking. Some models require manual restart after PF.
