Safety first: Unplug the smoker and let it cool before touching internal parts.

Steps:

Remove all racks and accessories and run the smoker briefly to see if the noise decreases; if so, adjust or replace noisy racks.
Inspect the internal fan blades for bent fins or debris; straighten gently and clean.
Check mounting screws on the fan motor bracket and internal panels; tighten any loose hardware.
If the noise is from the smoke generator area, inspect the auger or feeder mechanism for chips wedged in the gears and clear them.
If the fan motor wobbles or has excessive play, replace the convection fan motor.
