Safety first: Unplug the smoker and wait until all internal parts are cool.

Steps:

Access the fan: Remove the rear interior panel inside the cooking chamber (usually held by screws). This exposes the circulation fan assembly.
Check for obstructions: Spin the fan blade by hand. It should rotate freely without scraping. Remove any foil, food debris, or heavy grease deposits.
Clean the fan: Wipe blades and surrounding shroud with a degreaser. Excess grease can unbalance or seize the fan.
Inspect wiring: From the rear of the unit, locate the fan motor wires and ensure the connector to the control board is secure and not heat‑damaged.
Test the motor: With the motor disconnected, measure resistance across its terminals. An open circuit indicates a failed motor. Replace the fan motor assembly if open or if it hums but will not turn.

Display shows E7 and the internal circulation fan does not run; temperature is uneven inside the smoker.
